WordPress

Publish Rootscript articles into WordPress with the connector plugin or WordPress application passwords.

Setup

  1. 1Choose WordPress in the project integrations screen.
  2. 2Use the Rootscript connector plugin for the simplest setup, or use application-password mode for a native WordPress REST setup.
  3. 3Confirm the public blog URL Rootscript should use for published article URLs.
  4. 4Publish a draft from Rootscript to verify categories, metadata, and article content.

Notes

  • The connector can create or reuse categories for Rootscript content clusters.
  • Application-password mode requires a WordPress user with permission to create and update posts.
  • For automated sitemap submission, the site should also expose /blog.xml.
