Google Search Console

Connect Google Search Console so Rootscript can verify ownership, read search performance, and submit compliant sitemaps.

Setup

  1. 1Connect the Google account that has Search Console access for the project domain.
  2. 2Complete DNS verification when Rootscript asks for it.
  3. 3Expose /blog.xml on the verified domain so sitemap submission uses the customer-owned URL.
  4. 4Use the project dashboard to confirm the sitemap setup and indexing health.

Notes

  • Rootscript no longer submits Rootscript-hosted project sitemaps directly.
  • Search Console data powers performance and growth-sprint planning.
  • The /blog.xml check compares the customer-hosted XML with the Rootscript project sitemap.
