Rules for using Rootscript

By accessing or using Rootscript, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you use Rootscript on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or purchasing access. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, for keeping sign-in links, devices, and connected integrations reasonably secure, and for promptly notifying Rootscript if you suspect unauthorized access.

Rootscript provides software and workflows for SEO analysis, website scanning, keyword discovery, AI-assisted drafting, editorial scoring, publishing preparation, integrations, and related visibility operations. The service may change over time, and Rootscript may add, remove, suspend, or modify features at any time.

Rootscript is a tool for planning, drafting, analysis, and workflow execution. It is not legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of rankings, traffic, revenue, or business outcomes.

You retain ownership of the content, materials, business information, credentials, and site data you submit to Rootscript, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service. You grant Rootscript a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, analyze, adapt, and display your submitted data solely as necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and authority needed to submit the data you provide, to connect third-party services, and to instruct Rootscript to publish or transmit content on your behalf.

• Do not use Rootscript for unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, harassing, or fraudulent activity.
• Do not submit or publish content that violates another party's rights, applicable law, or platform policies.
• Do not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, introduce malware, or abuse rate limits.
• Do not use Rootscript to send spam, automate abusive scraping, or generate deceptive material without appropriate review and oversight.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the service except as explicitly permitted by law or by Rootscript in writing.

Rootscript may generate analyses, strategies, keyword suggestions, scores, and draft content using automated systems and third-party models. Automated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your specific business or regulatory context.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and validating all generated or suggested output before publishing, relying on it, or sharing it externally. Rootscript does not guarantee search engine rankings, indexing behavior, traffic gains, lead volume, or compatibility with every third-party destination.

If you connect Google, WordPress, webhooks, payment services, analytics tools, or other third-party services, your use of those services remains subject to the third party's own terms, policies, and technical requirements. Rootscript is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account suspensions, API changes, or security events occurring outside Rootscript's control.

You authorize Rootscript to exchange the data necessary to operate integrations you enable, including sending drafts, metadata, and publication requests to the destinations you configure.

Paid features, plans, and pricing are described in the applicable product, pricing, or checkout flow at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar charges associated with your purchase unless the law requires Rootscript to collect or pay them directly.

Except where required by law or where Rootscript expressly offers a specific refund program, fees are non-refundable once paid. If Rootscript presents a specific refund or guarantee offer on the pricing page or checkout flow, that offer applies only according to the exact terms shown at the time of purchase.

Rootscript and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, software, workflows, branding, interfaces, documentation, and related intellectual property, except for your rights in your own submitted content. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Rootscript beyond the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

You may stop using Rootscript at any time. Rootscript may suspend or terminate access, remove content, disable integrations, or limit functionality if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a way that could harm Rootscript, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions relating to payments owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnity, and dispute-related matters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rootscript is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Rootscript disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rootscript and its affiliates, service providers, licensors, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or business interruption arising out of or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rootscript's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Rootscript for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rootscript and its affiliates, service providers, licensors, and personnel from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your content, your use of the service, your connected integrations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Rootscript may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the service after revised Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
